North Korea continues to work to deepen the western tunnel at the Pyongi-ri nuclear site in Kilju province, a news website specializing in North Korean affairs said.
The 38 North website, based on the analysis of satellite images, concluded that "the activity of workers and equipment in the field of nuclear testing continued throughout December, and the size of soil extracted from the tunnel increased.
Experts on the North Korean website said this remarkable activity shows that Pyongyang is seeking to be ready for a new nuclear test.
