    Sulaymaniyah police announced today, Thursday, the release of a number of detainees in the rehabilitation of adults in the province.
     
    The police said in a statement received by "Baghdad Post" a copy of it: "A number of detainees were released in the adult rehabilitation in the province of Sulaymaniyah, including the law of amnesty in Kurdistan."
     
    The statement pointed out that the first phase of the implementation of the amnesty law passed by the Parliament of Kurdistan included the release of 21 inmates in the Directorate General for Adult Reform in the province of Sulaymaniyah.
     
    The statement added that the process of checking the files of detainees will continue for eight months, and within the framework of which will be released all the prisoners covered by the amnesty.
