Venezuela's oil production drops to a 28-year low

Oil production in Venezuela fell about 13% last year to an annual low of 28 years, OPEC figures showed on Thursday.
The South American country produced 2.072 million barrels per day in 2017, compared with 2.373 million barrels per day in 2016, recording a decline of about 300,000 barrels per day.
It was the biggest drop among the 13 OPEC countries, which have pledged to cut output recently extended to the end of 2018
