    The Ministry of Defense announced on Monday the return of some 149,000 displaced families to the provinces of Salah al-Din and Anbar, coinciding with the start of a process of cleansing in Western Sahara to search for caches of weapons of encouragement. 
    The issue of the return of displaced persons and the reconstruction of liberated areas is the biggest challenge facing the federal government after the elimination of an oppressive organization. 
    According to the latest statistics of the Ministry of Displacement and Migration, more than half of the displaced returned to their areas. It is estimated that more than 2.5 million people are still displaced.
    The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that "the number of families returning from the displacement to Salah al-Din province after the completion of checking their security positions in the intelligence cell reached (44058) families in the city of Tikrit, and (2751) (5196) families in Al-Bujail village, (32503) families in Al-Sharqat district, (56983) families in the district of Baiji united, and 350 families in Talul Albag, (50) families in the village of Sheikh Ali, "asserting that" the total number of returnees to the province of Salah al-Din reached (148660) family. " 
    The Sulaiman Bek district of Tuzhurmatu district in Saladin on Monday reported the return of more than 200 families, the second to be received by the judiciary this week.
    Last week, al-Tuz district witnessed the return of the first of the families left behind by the tensions that erupted after the federal forces redeployed in the disputed areas in mid-October. 
    "More than 200 families in Sulaiman Bek have returned to their homes under the supervision of a joint committee of the security services and the crowd after ensuring the safety of the returnees," the crowd said in a statement. Belonging to Al-Tawz. " 
    Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense announced in another statement that 356 displaced families had been repatriated to areas in Qaim and Karbala districts of Anbar.
    "The 8th Infantry Division continues to return the displaced families to their areas of residence, in accordance with directives issued by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Minister of Defense," the Ministry of Defense said, adding that 356 families displaced from the project area to Qaim and Al- To secure their areas in full and to lift IEDs planted by terrorists and calling for the treatment of house bombs. " 
    The Defense Ministry urged the families to "take their active role in maintaining the security of their areas through cooperation with the security forces and reporting on people who are raped." 
    In a related context, security forces carried out on Sunday, a clean-up operation in the desert of the West Island, resulted in the discovery of piles of IEDs.
    In a statement, the crowd said that its troops within the Baiji area had "carried out a large-scale clearance operation in Western Sahara," noting that "piles of bombs, rockets, fuel tankers and underground buried vehicles were seized in the Great Desert." 
    In addition, the Ministry of Defense announced that a number of high-explosive IEDs had been found during the clearing. 
    The statement said the Ministry of Defense, "the emergency regiment of the 2 and the Swat Salah al-Din carried out an inspection of the island of Tikrit Albu Dhofar area and oil street, to provide intelligence on the existence of explosive devices remnants of gangs and a supporter of the terrorist." 
    The operation, according to the statement, "to find (16) explosive device is a Glycanat capacity (20 liters) containing ammonium nitrate, was detonated on site without incident."
