Telegraph publishes details of a British spy "ideologically driven" tried to prevent the election of NB-228574-636532398898715234

The British Telegraph newspaper published Saturday an article titled "A Secret Note on the FBI that a British spy was trying to prevent Trump's election," pointing out that the spy was motivated by Trump's hostility.

The subject, which was attended by Ben Reilly Smith, editor of American affairs in the newspaper, and Rosina Sabor, the Washington correspondent says that the US capital Washington has witnessed charges of a British spy that he was behind a package of charges against US President Donald Trump because he was struggling to prevent him from winning the last presidential election

The newspaper added that a memo revealed that Christopher Steele had written a Justice Department official before the 2016 election that he was "excited" to prevent Trump from winning the election.

The Republican Party clings to this memo to prove that the former CIA agent MI6 was criminally motivated against Trump, casting doubt on the impartiality of his testimony against the US president.

The four-page memo was written by a Republican congressman and Trump recently published a report criticizing the way the FBI and the Department of Justice treated Steele's testimony, which led to the investigation of members of the Trump campaign.

The newspaper added that the Democrats on their part considered Trump's move to publish the document political disgrace and an attempt to reduce the efforts of the American intelligence agencies and to obstruct investigations into the involvement of Russians in the manipulation of elections in favor of Trump.
