The House Committee on Security and Defense on Monday rejected US interference in the popular mobilization and its organizing process, asserting that the power of popular mobilization is the strength of Iraq.
A member of the Committee Iskandar and Tutt said in a statement to the "Information", "The Popular Rally Authority is an official military institution under the command of Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi as commander in chief of the armed forces," adding that "no one has the right to interfere in its affairs."
"The statements made by the US Deputy Secretary of State on the organization of the popular crowd are totally unacceptable," he said, adding that "the crowd has made great sacrifices to liberate Iraq and its strength from the strength of Iraq."
US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan on Saturday disclosed his country's advice and assistance in organizing the popular rally, saying US troops would remain in Iraq. Ending / 25
