    The General Company for Food Trade in the Ministry of Commerce announced on Monday that it will cut the monthly quota for February 2018 for sugar, oil and rice. 

    The director general of the company Qasim Hamoud said in a press statement that "the quantities assessed per capita per capita of 3 kg of rice and 2 kg of sugar and 1 liter of edible oil in addition to the share of flour of 9 kg," noting that "the Ministry and within its instructions prevent agents from the deduction of any additional amounts For the wages of transportation of citizens. " 

    "The processing of these materials is after the emergence of validity for consumption and human use," adding that "the distribution of materials by the agent for citizens takes 20 days of each month."

    He added that "the company and during its plans and programs to support the national product provided large quantities of sugar and oil domestic by contracting with the Iraqi private sector, which contributed to the provision of hard currency and reduce the expenses that were paid to the foreign importer.
