According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Moral Guidance at the Ministry of Defense, "two HMS warships, led by Captain Charles Collins and the HMS Leadbury, led by Captain Louis Ray, belonging to the Royal Navy, arrived in Doha Port to participate in the joint military exercises Between the two countries".
The statement said that "these exercises are conducted within the framework of joint military cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom, to combat terrorism and extremism.
