    [ltr]Baghdad - Mawazine News[/ltr]
[ltr]The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, on Sunday accused Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour of killing "innocents" in order to stay in office while calling on him to step down.

"The situation in Yemen is very shabby and monstrous as a result of the poverty, killing and arrests carried out by the current government in addition to the spread of epidemics and the spread of diseases," Sadr said in a statement read by Mawazine News in response to a question by one of his followers.

"The war in Yemen continues to defy the lives of innocent people, as a result of the presence of the dictator President Mansour Abed Rabbo," he said, calling on the Yemeni president to step down from the post and abandon the killing of innocents under the pretext of innocent people.

He noted that "the sitting of the warring parties in Yemen as a table for dialogue has become important in order to stop the bleeding of the innocent."[/ltr]
