BAGHDAD - A member of the oil and energy committee MP Jamal al-Mohamadawi on Monday warned of an environmental and humanitarian catastrophe that could hit the citizens of northern Basra as a result of oil extraction and gas burning, calling for quick intervention to find suitable solutions to save the people from these dangers.
