The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Shi'a al-Sudani, invited an open invitation to his Saudi counterpart and to companies wishing to visit Iraq to see the projects in Mesopotamia, revealing the offer of SABIC to enter as a third party in a strategic project in partnership with Shell International, Of 94% of investors expressed their desire to enter the Iraqi market.

He pointed out that "the experience of the Kingdom in the petrochemical industry is successful by all standards, where they have Sabic and this name and title in the manufacturing industries and they have important companies and we are interested to transfer this successful experience of Iraq," noting that "we made an offer to SABIC to enter into a strategic project is being prepared two years ago in partnership with "Shell International is the third project in the world and has been introduced to SABIC as a third party with us. We also have a genuine desire for joint work between the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals and Saudi Energy."
He pointed out that "we hope to further activate the initial steps and agreements that took place during our visit to Saudi Arabia and included the sites of industrial cities and our meeting with an elite of industrial businessmen in Riyadh Chamber of Industry."
He explained that "there is a clear demand and we heard from the Chamber that there was a questionnaire, where more than 94% of investors expressed their desire to enter the Iraqi market and this is encouraging factor and will find their Iraqi brothers very welcome and provide facilities for the success of these projects to reflect the interest of the two brotherly peoples and the Arab and Islamic nation.
