The Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri, Saturday, that Iraq was a victim of extremism and has responded to him on behalf of the world, pointing out that the military confrontation is not enough to confront terrorism and extremism.
"Extremism does not come from a vacuum, but comes from a flawed thought resulting from a misunderstanding of the Sunnah of the Prophet, a misreading of the Koran and an imbalance in vision and historical facts," al-Jubouri said in a speech during his attendance at the forum "Iraq without extremism". "He said.
He added that "Iraq was a victim of this extremism, and he responded to him on behalf of the world," stressing that "the military solution is not enough alone to eliminate extremism."
Jubouri stressed the need to "limit the arms of the state and establish balanced international relations and make the state a tent for all of us," noting that "this will contribute to the elimination of extremism." Ending / 25
