Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the White bloc stated
that the parliament became a means to hinder the performance of the
government and endorsing the important law drafts.
In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Friday, he said
“”The delay in endorsing the laws by the political blocs and increase of
their demands regarding the general budget became a habit while
endorsing the important law drafts that are useful for the citizens
where the parliament became a means to serve the political blocs rather
than serving the citizens.”
“The citizens know the importance of expediting endorsing the law
drafts to ensure the continuity of the performance of the government
where there are dozens of the families wait for releasing the job
opportunities and the other grants that became under the mercy of the
political blocs,” he added.
He criticized “The excuses that delay the endorsement of the general
budget for the second time in the current week,” calling the political
blocs to “Adhere to the national interest and neglect the personal one
to achieve the interest of the people.”
