Oil prices rose in early trade after US President Donald Trump pulled out of the nuclear deal, a move that could limit crude oil exports to a market already suffering from tight supply.
Global benchmark crude rose 2 percent to $ 76.42 a barrel, its highest level since November 2014.
West Texas Intermediate crude rose $ 1.18, or 1.7 percent, to $ 70.24 a barrel, also near its highest level since late 2014.
"The biggest event tonight is President Trump's cancellation of the nuclear deal with Iran in 2015. It is therefore likely that sanctions will be imposed again on Iran, which will definitely affect its oil exports," said William Olaflin, an investment analyst at Rifkin Securities. Ending / 25
