    Congratulated the Prime Minister and leader of the alliance victory Haidar Abadi, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr, the victory of the alliance, "Saroon" the highest votes in the legislative elections, which has the support of Sadr .

    The leader of the Democratic Party Massoud Barzani and his deputy, Nezhirvan Barzani, telephoned the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr.

    "He received a telephone call yesterday from Mr. Massoud Barzani and President of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), in order to congratulate the electoral process and the National Alliance for the first place in the 2018 parliamentary elections," a statement from Sadr's office said.

    For his part, al-Sadr expressed his thanks and appreciation for the communication and congratulations on winning, hoping to strengthen the brotherhood of the Iraqi people and the consolidation of bonds of love with different races and sects and categories.

    After announcing the initial partial results in the Iraqi elections, the Alliance emerged as the first among its rivals, but not far from the rest of the electoral lists, so it seeks to form a "trans-sectarian", according to Muqtada al-Sadr .
