    Safadi said in his Twitter page that about 1.3 million Syrians are in Jordan, that Amman is coordinating with the United Nations to deal with the situation in southern Syria, to stop fighting, protect civilians and get all the necessary assistance to the Syrians there. 

    The Jordanian foreign minister is due to visit Moscow on July 4 for talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on the "reduction of escalation" area in southern Syria and the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.
