CNBC has revealed the expected impact of the restoration of economic sanctions on world oil markets after the official withdrawal of the United States represented by President Donald Trump of the Iranian nuclear deal.
The network was based on the views of the global oil market analyst, Amrita Sen, who confirmed that oil prices could exceed $ 90 in the fourth quarter of this year.
"US sanctions on Iranian crude could soon push oil prices to $ 90 a barrel, which means there will be a need to pump more oil into world markets in the coming period," the CNBC oil analyst told CNBC.
"As we approach the fourth quarter in 2018, there is an urgent need to increase oil production at the level of global markets, enough to withstand the suspension of Iranian oil exports under US economic sanctions."
Many experts believe that China's insistence on violating sanctions and continuing to buy Iranian oil could ease the sanctions, the network said, stressing that Beijing's access to all of Tehran's oil and sufficiency would be in the interest of the oil market.
The United States announced its formal withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal last May, and then recaptured the economic sanctions that the international community had lifted from the shoulders of Iran under the agreement, after the United States objected to Iran's terrorist policies in the region during the past years, The political and economic cover provided by the agreement over the past three years.
The United States plans to restore financial sanctions and other punitive measures in two phases, starting in August, after US President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from Iran's 2015 nuclear deal, which lifted most sanctions against Iran for restrictions on its nuclear activities.
