Iraq agrees with a UAE company to build a residential complex in Camp Rashid
Sami al-Araji, chairman of the National Investment Authority, announced Sunday that he will start investing in Al-Rashid camp in a move aimed at solving the housing crisis.
Araji said in a press statement that "Lamar Company of Tia will soon begin construction of 70 thousand housing units on the land of Rasheed camp after reaching an agreement with them."
He added that the agreement "provides for the construction of (60) thousand housing units in a vertical and different designs, while will be built (10) thousands of housing units in a horizontal manner," noting that "40% of the units prepared for people with limited incomes of citizens and employees, while 60% The project will include commercial, recreational and educational services, and the project will suit all classes of low income and middle classes. "
