Crude Oil futures fall in first week sessions
Crude oil futures fell in the first session of the week on Monday as the US dollar index rose in line with the inverse relationship between them.
At 04:06 am GMT, Brent crude futures for October delivery fell 0.32% to trade at $ 71.60 per barrel, compared to the opening at $ 71.83 a barrel. The dollar index rose 0.06% to 96.16 from the opening at 96.10.
US crude futures for November delivery fell 0.36% to $ 65.67 a barrel from $ 65.91 a barrel.
