A giant German company retreating from its activities in Iran in response to US sanctions

Siemens, the German engineering giant, has announced plans to retract its activities in Iran to introduce new US sanctions against Tehran.
The company explained that it would try to take appropriate measures to align the company's activities with changing and multilateral conditions in Iran, stating that it would continue its interest in strict compliance with all export restrictions and regulations, including US secondary sanctions.
The US ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, has already announced the company's steps in this regard. "I was told by Siemens that it would withdraw from Iran to meet US sanctions ," Greenell wrote Thursday evening on the Twitter social networking site .
