holds Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian Hassan Rowhani and Turkey 's Recep Tayyip Erdogan , three - way summit on Friday in Tehran , it is expected to decide the fate of the city of Idlib and the operations of the Syrian army to retrieve it .

A Russian military source told Russia's Kommersant newspaper that the details of the expected military operation against terrorists in Idlib province should be agreed upon by the presidents of Russia , Turkey and Iran during their meeting in Tehran on Friday.

The newspaper said that the military operation could begin in the province of Idlib last July, but was postponed because of opposition of Turkey, which has influence on the Syrian opposition forces in the province of Idlib and believes that it is necessary to continue the control of the armed opposition (Syria) on a large part of the province of Idlib .

Turkish President Erdogan promised days ago to make progress on the issue of Idleb during the Tehran summit, which brings together the presidents of Russia, Iran and Turkey.

In July, the Arab media reported that Russia, Turkey and Iran could agree on an Idlib self-determination plan that Syrian authorities would regain control of specific parts of the large Idlib, while Turkey and the armed opposition would continue to sponsor the other parts.

As for the West's opposition to the military operation in Idlib, the newspaper said: "If Turkey, Russia and Iran agreed to focus the process on the" victory front "and took a single position, will not find the Western countries in front of them only turn a blind eye to the military operation in Idlib.

The president of the Iranian Shura Council, Ali Larijani, said the final solution to the situation in Idlib could be reached during the tripartite summit in Tehran.

"I hope that the summit in Tehran, in which Mr Putin is participating, will be able to reach a definitive final agreement on the events taking place in Idlib with his counterparts," the Iranian official said during a meeting with the Russian State Duma.

The Syrian city of Idlib is witnessing rapid daily developments, both in terms of operations of the Syrian army there or news related to armed terrorist groups, in addition to the conditions of civilians under the control of these groups on the city and its countryside.

Media reports from inside Idlib province reported cases of terrorist and foreign leaders fleeing through the Turkish border, where Turkish border guards were smuggling terrorists.

According to these reports, after the admission of Turkey that the organization of "the Liberation of the Sham" a terrorist and withdraw the cover, Idlib the next day hit more than ten bombings targeted senior leaders in the terrorist organization throughout the province, and after Turkey failed to resolve the "victory Front" The green light of the "Nur al-Din al-Zanki movement" to liquidate "Front Nasra."

For its part, considered the tenth Israeli channel, Thursday evening, that the tripartite summit scheduled in Tehran is important and historic because it will discuss the future of the Syrian city of Idlib, and the fate of "terrorists".

Israel and Russia are willing to reach an agreement that will pave the way for the surrender of the "terrorists", while Iran and Russia are running things in Syria, the channel said. They demand Turkish recognition of the legitimacy of President Bashar al-Assad, despite Erdogan's stance towards him.
