Exxon Mobil executes service project in Shatt al-Arab

The Ministry of Oil announced its agreement with Exxon Mobil Company to set up new pumps in the Shatt al-Arab plant to turn the pumping water into (R0), explaining that through this project will be included water suitable for domestic use.
Oil Minister Jabbar Ali al-Allaibi said in a statement to the ministry that the period given to the US company is four months, not extendable, considering that the time is sufficient to complete the project. Indicating that Exxon Mobil has been obliged to extend a pipeline from the station "two handbooks" to the Shatt al-Arab in order to enhance the amount of water pumped to citizens.
On the other hand, al-Luaibi revealed that the Ministry of Oil will establish a health clinic near the station (R0) to provide medical and therapeutic services for workers in the station, which is located away from the health centers and hospitals in Basra.
The initiatives of the Ministry of Oil comes as part of the government effort to support the provision of safe drinking water and eliminate the water scarcity suffered by the province of Basra.
