(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halbousi received a telephone call from Meshaal bin Fahm al-Salami, head of the Arab parliament.
A statement by the Office of the President of the House of Representatives received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "the Arab Parliament Speaker made at the beginning of the communication congratulations to President Halabousi his election as Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, stressing support of the Arab Parliament and its support to the Iraqi Council of Representatives in all fields.
The statement added: "Al-Salami also sent an official invitation to President Halabousi; to participate in the next Arab Parliament, which will be hosted by Cairo, where he promised to meet the invitation."
