Sadr demands to change the national anthem to this song!

Moqtada al-Sadr
The leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr praised the artist Kazem al-Saher and welcomed his arrival in Iraq to perform the poem 'Peace be upon you, Rafidik, Iraq values', according to actor Sinan al-Azzawi.
Al-Azzawi said in his Facebook page that when he met with al-Sadr, he praised al-Saher and described the poem he sang with the national anthem. He called for performing this national song in Mosul because it was the last liberated land from the terrorist organization.
Al-Azzawi added that he proposed to portray the performance of the song at the site of the destroyed Hadba Lighthouse in Mosul because it would rise up with the Iraqis and their determination to remain in Iraq. He said that he was personally assigned to follow up the matter and that he is still in contact.

It is noteworthy that the song of Saher, known as 'Salam Aliik, on Rafidik, Iraq values' was recorded and buried in 2008 days of sectarian fighting in Iraq, and many Iraqis have demanded that it be adopted national anthem of Iraq instead of the current anthem, which was adopted temporarily from Before parliament in 2005.
