Baghdad: Rafidain Bank announced that its director general Dr. Khawla Talib Jabbar ranked fifth among the most influential women in the Middle East in the latest classification of Forbes magazine.
"Jabbar was ranked fifth among the top 100 successful women in the Middle East business," the bank's media office said in a statement.
He pointed out that "the magazine adopted in its classification specific criteria represented by the revenues of the companies that lead them and the impact of their role and the amount of experience they possess in addition to the growth of their companies and other initiatives led by these distinguished women in the last three years."
The Director General of Rafidain Bank has been awarded the distinction in management and commitment in the framework of the awards of excellence and achievement of banking for the year 2017 organized by the International Union of Arab Bankers.
She was also awarded the Best Arab Award for 2016 in Morocco, the best Arab executive president award for her outstanding role in the financial services sector of three other filters.
