The popular crowd strengthens its forces on the border with Syria
Popular forces have stepped up their forces on the border with Syria following an attack by a terrorist on the other side of the border.
The leadership of the popular mobilization of the western axis of Anbar in a statement to strengthen its presence on the Iraqi-Syrian border as a result of the fall of some points of the Syrian Democratic forces, but the organization is calling.
"During the past two days, as a result of bad weather conditions, the Syrian Democratic Party has been attacked by gangs," said Kassem Musleh. "After that, the forces withdrew from the border, causing a vacuum on the Syrian border."
He added: "These points were burned and we saw the withdrawal of troops with the Americans and there are also orders to close the Baguoz crossing, which was used by the Americans and overlooking the Syrian border, because of the seriousness of the security situation on the border."
Musleh pointed out that there is great coordination between the border forces and the army, in anticipation of any emergency, and that the forces of the crowd have taken the necessary measures to secure the border and assign the Iraqi border guards.
"The missile force and the support battalion were directed to provide full support to the border guards stationed on the Iraqi-Syrian border," he said.
