German Foreign Minister confirms his country's support for Iraq in construction and reconstruction
Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali al-Hakim received a telephone call from his German counterpart Haikou Mas congratulating him on his assumption of his duties as foreign minister in the elected government.
"Mas stressed the support and support of Germany for the new government and its willingness to cooperate seriously and constructively for the benefit of the two friendly countries," a foreign ministry statement said.
For his part, al-Hakim thanked his German counterpart and reiterated his sincere desire to continuously develop relations between Iraq and Germany and to facilitate all means to achieve common interests.
