    Deputy Minister for Gas Affairs Dr. Hamid Al-Zobaie said in a statement to the official newspaper "Al-Sabah" that "the ministry and its contribution to finding quick solutions for the provision of electrical energy is currently working in coordination with the Ministry of Electricity and Siemens and General Electric to set up units A fast mobile power that works on liquid gas to be installed in the fields of energy. "
    Al-Zobaie added that "this idea came because of the difficulty of the process of collecting gas in these fields, which requires the establishment of large projects continue to be completed for a long period of time, noting that the Ministry has conducted surveys of those sites that have been quantified and actually been transferred to the company (Siemens) General Electric) within their agreements with the Ministry of Electricity for the purpose of installing generators generating different cards for the consumption of limited quantities of associated gas in different locations.
    He added that "the total quantities of gas associated in these discrete fields will provide 15 million standard cubic feet per day of gas generation units with an economic feasibility of the implementation of this project, and this will be the best way to invest gas during this stage until the creation of significant investment opportunities, That "the implementation of this project will add quantities of electricity to the system and at the same time will eliminate the establishment of facilities for these quantities that are small and economically feasible."
    Zobaie stressed that "the ministry and since 2015, put an integrated plan to invest the entire gas associated with oil production, especially that Iraq's gas 70% of it is associated with the production of oil as a reserve and represents 100% of the existing production capacity, so requires investment complex facilities different shapes and pressures and quality, Noting that "the plan set out since 2015, as the amount of gas produced up to 700 million cubic feet a day, and currently the ministry invests 1500 million standard cubic feet per day of the total 2800 million feet A standard daily wage and is sought by 2023 ".
    He pointed out that "the plan of the Ministry in the coming years to complete the investment of the full amount of gas through the projects are currently underway and the project is currently Nasiriyah capacity of 200 million cubic feet standard daily and the project of Maysan 300 million standard cubic feet per day and the complex of Artawi gas 300 million standard cubic feet Daily and Ben Omar card amounting to 150 million standard cubic feet per day, in addition to the projects of the Basrah Gas Company, which will provide in the coming years up to 800 million standard cubic feet per day within the target must be Qgah Basrah Gas Company within the specified fields down to 2023, which will invest most of the gas produced and the amounts associated with the production set. Oil after completion of projects and plans.
