Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs revealed its procedures for dealing with the foreign worker file, while specifying one category for recruitment.
Ministry spokesman Najm Al-Aqabi said, “The Ministry is working to limit foreign workers and only allow the entry of skilled workers who hold an experience certificate issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassy.”
He explained, "The Ministry's procedures were to distribute a questionnaire to foreign investment companies operating in the country, and to find out the specializations desired by those companies, in order to train national workers in these professions."
He added, "Among the measures, the foreign worker was required to train the national worker for a period of one month."
