office said in a statement released late Saturday night.

The statement added that the two sides discussed the joint relations between the two countries and the situation in the region. They also agreed to intensify the exchange of visits at the highest levels to develop fraternal relations between the two countries. He reiterated congratulations to the Prime Minister on his assumption of the Iraqi government and its accelerated efforts to promote security and stability, All the Iraqi people. " 

The Jordanian monarch expressed appreciation for the prime minister's keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation and strengthen fraternal relations between the two neighboring countries and peoples. 

The two sides discussed cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries as well as discussing developments in the region and efforts to establish security and stability.

The Prime Minister expressed "great thanks and appreciation for the position of the Jordanian monarch and the Jordanian government supporting Iraq and its people to serve the common interests and enhance the chances of growth and economic prosperity."
