Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Monday expected close visits by senior officials to Iraq.
"We expect high-level visits by senior officials to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] soon, " Abdul-Mahdi said at his weekly press conference , noting that he had received "a call from the King of Jordan, which saw the promotion of cooperation and exchanges of visits."
He added that "the US Secretary of State told us to withdraw from Syria and stressed the commitment of Washington to support Iraq," stressing that "Iraq enjoys good relations with all neighboring countries and with the majority of forces in Syria and an important role in this file."
