    The Federal Supreme Court announced on Wednesday its participation in the conference of courts and constitutional councils in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
    "Iraq participated in the conference 42 heads of Arab and Islamic courts and councils, and the delegation of Iraq was headed by the President of the Federal Supreme Court Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud, and the participation of one of the judges members of the court," spokesman Ayas al-Samuk said in a statement.
    Al-Mahmoud said in a statement titled "The role of the Federal Supreme Court in Iraq in consolidating the rule of law." He referred to many of the verdicts issued by it, and promoted public freedoms, equality among Iraqis, safeguarded the rights of the components and established the rule of law.
    For his part, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey Zhutu Arslan that the participation of Iraq, "contributed significantly to the success of the conference," expressing his wishes, that "the Conference has established the purpose of establishing a continuous dialogue between the constitutional courts / councils and parallel institutes of member states, Organization for Islamic Cooperation to exchange information and best applications "
