    Today, Thursday (July 4, 2024), the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidane, visited the Supreme Court of the State of Azerbaijan.
    The media center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated, received by "Baghdad Today", that "the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faeq Zidane, visited the Supreme Court in Azerbaijan today, Thursday, 7/4/2024, accompanied by the accompanying delegation."
    He added that "he was received by the President of the Supreme Court, Inam Karimov, the Chief Justice and the judges working in it," indicating that "the President of the Council and the accompanying delegation, accompanied by Karimov, toured the administrative department and the museum in the Supreme Court."
    The media center stated that "the delegation members listened to a brief explanation of the nature of its work," noting that "the Supreme Court in Azerbaijan is the counterpart of the Court of Cassation in Iraq."
    In a related context, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidane, visited the Azerbaijani Constitutional Court today, Thursday, accompanied by the accompanying delegation.
     Judge Zeidan met with its President, Farhad Abdul Layef, to learn about the work of the court, its formation, and to exchange common judicial ideas between the judicial systems of the two countries.
