(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) MP from the Alliance for Reform and Reconstruction Khaled al-Geshmi, a number of proposals to fill the deficit in the budget of 2019 and not go and resort to external borrowing.
"The proposals included reducing the allocations of a number of sections of the operational budget, such as service requirements for all state institutions except for the provinces to 40% of their current value and reduce the allocations of commodity inputs to 40% of their current value except Allocations of the Ministry of Health ".
"It also included reducing the maintenance of the assets to 30% of the current value, except for allocations of education, health, interior and defense, and reducing the allocation of capital expenditures to 10% of its current value except for the allocations of defense and interior and health and reducing the allocations of grants and subsidies to 20% of their present value, Property and Finance ".
"This reduction in allocations will not affect the provision of services to the Iraqi citizen and will provide 11 trillion and 451 billion dinars for the budget," he said.
