    The UAE maintained the first place in the Middle East and North Africa region in the fight against corruption as the most honest country in the region, while it ranked 23rd in the world among 180 developed countries, based on the previous report on Corruption Index 2018 issued yesterday by Transparency International.     The UAE recorded 70 points in the 2018 Corruption Perceptions Index, up 5 points from the previous year's report of 2016. The UAE received a higher index than other countries in the region.
