Justice: The Office of the Inspector-General recommends the recovery of more than 60 billion dinars

BAGHDAD / The Inspector General of the Ministry of Justice Karim al-Ghazi announced on Sunday the procedures of the Office and its activities for the recovery of funds in 2018, exceeding the amount (60) billion dinars.
Al-Ghazi said in a statement that the total amount reached (60.959.810.000 dinars) sixty billion nine hundred and fifty-nine million and eight hundred and ten thousand dinars, and represents the efforts of all sections of the Office throughout the year 2018.
The Inspector-General pointed out that the sources of funds recommended for recovery were the removal of confiscated real estate and the restitution of ownership to the State, as well as the value of loans granted by banks to guarantee real estates in appreciation of their use and used as real estate guarantees for such loans.
