    Shafaq News / The Leader of the Sadrist movement, cleric Moqtada al- Sadr orders his followers to go out in a demonstration on the occasion of “World Oppressed Day ", while stressing to participate and vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections

    “ Moqtada al -Sadr appreciates the efforts of his masses which recorded its legitimate , moral and national position through their participation in the mass demonstrations that began in the provinces of Iraq, which denounced and condemned the insult released by Iraqi Prime Minister against Moqtada al-Sadr,” A statement by Sadr's office received by "Shafaq News”.

    Najaf and Dhi -Qar governorates witnessed on Monday, in addition to the capital Baghdad demonstrations organized by the followers of the Sadrist movement against Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki , while protesters raised banners condemning the latter in response to his statements attacking the current leader ,Moqtada al-Sadr

    It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki said in a recent interview with Channel ( France 24 ) that Moqtada al-Sadr " doesn’t know the basics of politics," while “Ahrar bloc of the Sadrist movement said that they made ​​a decision not to respond to comments by " others , "referring to Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki to ensure no worsening political climate

    The statement called on Sadr's followers, " We recommend all brothers to preserve the and Islamic principles and values ​​ reject violence and not allow others to benefit from the right sound that rose (yesterday ) , and we we call not to harm the public inters as the demonstrations were enough answer to record this honorable position”.

    "We stress the need for active participation in the demonstration on the World Oppressed Day and that will be another station to stand with the oppressed and denounce injustice and dictatorship

    ."
    The statement concluded , " Moqtada al-Sadr confirms the need to   participate in the next elections and vote for the efficient candidate because not participating will be a reason for the continuation of corruption , injustice and dictatorship in our beloved country

    ."
    Sadr, has led a war against the American forces in Iraq before withdrawing and became an important element affecting the government , he said in a unprecedented statement that he retired from the political action and dissolved the movement that he lead

    Sadr’s decision led to large disintegration in Ahrar bloc as a number of its members announced their withdrawal from the Iraqi parliament about two months before the date of the general election
