The Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior Jamal Tahir al-Asadi that the directorates of inspection of Baghdad and the provinces of the Office of the Inspector General were able during the month of February of this year, the discovery of 408 cases of administrative and financial corruption in the various departments and joints of the ministry.
The inspector general in a statement to the twilight News that the Directorate of inspection Baghdad was able during the month of the discovery of 144 cases of administrative corruption and 27 cases of financial corruption, summarized indicators of administrative corruption discovered 100 cases of negligence, 26 cases of fraud, and 16 cases of functional exploitation, and cases of abuse Use of power.
Al-Asadi said that the indicators of financial corruption discovered by the Directorate of Inspection Baghdad were 11 cases of waste of public money, and 6 cases of bribery and concealment of materials, and 4 cases of embezzlement.
The Inspector General of the Interior that the Directorate of Inspectorate of the provinces was able to detect 200 cases of administrative corruption and 32 cases of financial corruption, were indicators of administrative corruption in the form of 153 cases of negligence, 32 cases of functional exploitation, 12 cases of abuse of power, and 11 cases of fraud , And one case of extortion, while the indicators of financial corruption discovered are 23 cases of waste of public money, and 7 cases of embezzlement, and the case of theft and one and hide material.
The inspector-general pointed out that the Directorate of Monitoring and Performance Evaluation also managed to monitor three cases of administrative corruption and two cases of financial corruption, the indicators of which were two cases of negligence, and one case was included in the indicators of fraud, bribery and theft.
