The Presidency of the House of Representatives decided on Sunday to adjourn the Council session until tomorrow.

A parliamentary source said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halabousi decided to lift the meeting today until tomorrow after the Council voted to dismiss the governor of Nineveh and his deputies and ended the first reading of the draft laws of industrial cities and amend the law of seizure and confiscation of funds for the former regime."

The House of Representatives held on Sunday, its fifth session of the current legislative term under the chairmanship of Mohammed Halbusi.
