Read every Day.. Empty Read every Day..

Post by Waymaker Fri 14 Mar 2014, 7:20 am

1 Peter 2:3 explains that craving good-God-things comes from having “tasted that the Lord is good” (NIV). You have to ‘taste’ your Bible (read it a bit) and notice the positive effects, before you can start to crave chowing down on it regularly. The first step towards that is to commit to a routine. To make the decision to read a bit of Bible every day. The second step is to actually do it. Even when you really don’t want to. Especially when you really don’t want to. And if you miss a day or two (or a week), pick it up again anyway from that day. Keep going. Then, maybe after a while, you’ll find that it becomes a part of your day that you look forward to.
