Parliamentary integrity proposes 100 judges to investigate corruption cases

On Sunday (April 7, 2019), the Parliamentary Integrity Committee proposed the identification of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/117212/100 %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B6%D9%8D]100 judges[/url] to investigate cases of corruption in all governorates of Iraq.
The committee member said Khaled Aljcami, he "submitted a proposal to the Council of Ministers and the Supreme Judiciary to determine the 100 judicial character referred to them stigmatized, integrity, competence and courage, the competence only the investigation of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/769/%D9%82%D8%B6%D8%A7%D9%8A%D8%A7 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%81%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AF]corruption cases[/url] and issue judgments by investigating judges and courts of misdemeanors and felonies in all the provinces."
He added that "these characters are treated in particular and exceptional by providing the necessary protection for them and their families and children and housing, and give them allocations on salaries up to 100 or 200 percent in coordination with the heads of the Council of Ministers and the Supreme Judicial."
The Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, called on Thursday (April 4, 2019), all political forces to take supportive and serious positions to combat corruption and reform of the system of government and the protection of public funds to provide a safe working environment to ensure the opening of files of corruption that caused large waste of public money and provide Those involved in the judiciary.
