The Parliamentary Labor Committee announced on Wednesday that billions of dollars of money were wasted annually by those who exceeded the social benefits of non-eligible beneficiaries.
"Many of the beneficiaries of social welfare salaries are not entitled to them, especially as some of them are in government jobs and others have high income jobs in the private sector," said Fadel al-Fatlawi, member of the committee.
He added that "the amount of money that is wasted within the salaries of social welfare is estimated annually billions," noting that "there is a special committee of the Ministry and the parliamentary committee has taken upon itself to monitor and scrutinize the matter and delete all transgressors and the consequences of legal consequences."
