Zubaidi reveals the prevention of waste 85 billion dinars from the funds of the Ministry of Health

The Inspector General of the Ministry, Ibrahim Hamid Al-Zubaidi, said in a statement that "the contracts audit department in his office and the adoption of proactive auditing of government contracts and tenders, has been able to audit 594 referrals and contracts concluded projects involving citizens, as included assignments, contracts for medicines and medical supplies and service devices, Stressing "the diagnosis of observations and treatment and referral of some of the Department of Investigation and Legal Affairs to form investigative committees after the discovery of irregularities require investigation and recommendations to the Office of the Minister of Health."
Al-Zubaidi pointed out that he "constantly directed the procedures for contracts and tenders and to approach the competent departments of the observations that have been diagnosed, stressing the Department of Audit Contracts and related committees, to detect any irregularities in contracts and referrals in order to preserve public money."
