Iran exposes itself, flirts with the Gulf states and at the same time declares its support for the Qatari regime!
Iran said it "hopes to improve its relations with its adversaries in the Gulf, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain," while renewing its support for Qatar in the nearly two-year-old crisis.
"We have very good relations with Qatar, Kuwait and Oman, and we hope to have similar relations with Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain," Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif said on the sidelines of the ACD Dialogue Forum in Doha.
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates accuse Iran of supporting the Huthi rebels in Yemen by arming them, destabilizing the Middle East by supporting "terrorist" organizations and interfering in the affairs of the region.
In Manama, Bahraini authorities say Tehran "is training elements to bring about unrest in its predominantly Shi'ite areas. Tehran denies these accusations."
Relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran have been severed since January 2016, when the execution of Saudi Shi'ite cleric Nimr al-Nimr in the kingdom sparked violent demonstrations in Iran in which the Saudi embassy in Tehran was attacked and burned.
