"There are four names for the post of interior minister and they have been submitted to the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/441/%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1]prime minister[/url] , " he said in a statement. "So far, no one has been chosen for this position."
He added that "the selection of a candidate for the Ministry of the Interior is subject to consensus between the political blocs on the four portfolios, as the candidate should get the confidence of the majority of the blocks."
He said that "Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, seeks to provide his full capacity to vote on the four vacant positions at once, especially after the agreement and the conquest of the candidates, where it is hoped to pass at once, especially if another bloc joined with the two blocs to achieve a majority in the vote" .
