    [rtl]US President Donald Trump said he had discussed the "Russian hoax" with his counterpart Vladimir Putin, but did not discuss concerns about Moscow's intervention in the 2020 election.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Trump did not explain what the Russian trick meant.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Trump and Putin spoke for the first time since the publication of US special investigator Robert Mueller's report on Russia's intervention in the 2016 US presidential campaign.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Muller's report found that the Russian government intervened in the elections "in a comprehensive and systematic manner."[/rtl]
    [rtl]Trump said during a meeting with reporters that he met with the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini, that he and Putin discussed only Muller's conclusion that Trump did not collude with Russia in 2016, according to Reuters.[/rtl]
    [rtl]"Putin seemed to have a good sense of humor," said Trump, adding: "He said the mountain was born with a mouse, but he knew it because he knew there was no collusion at all."[/rtl]
    [rtl]When pressed on whether he urged Putin not to interfere in the next election campaign in 2020, in which Trump seeks re-election, the US president said the issue had not been discussed.[/rtl]

    [rtl]Trump said on Twitter that he and Putin discussed the "Russian trick" among other things, including nuclear weapons, North Korea and Venezuela.[/rtl]

    Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held talks in the Russian capital on Friday, the Kremlin and the White House said.

    North Korea
