Jesus’ heart is geared towards others. He loves us, and He loves God. Everything He is is built on His own relationship with His Father and the Holy Spirit, which is, safe to say, pretty great, and on bringing us imperfect humans into that relationship.
It’s worth spending some time having a look into how Jesus lives it out in the gospels. That others-focused heart is one of the foundation-bricks of knowing how to live like Him. If we’re raring to love and serve God, and by extension the people He’s created, then being Jesus-like becomes more of a natural leaning.......
