Al-Watan newspaper said that this figure included the financial statements of 13 banks out of 14, where the Bank of Jordan has not yet published its data.
The data showed that total customer deposits in 2018 rose by 24 percent compared to 2017.
The value of customer deposits in Islamic banks reached about 243.7 billion Syrian pounds at the end of 2018, an increase of 36.36 percent over 2017.
