- The head of Iraq's economic council, Ibrahim al-Baghdadi al-Masoudi, hailed the efforts that resulted from the amended corporate law legislation, which was passed for the first time in Iraq to establish holding companies.
"We thank the president and members of the parliamentary economy and investment committee and all the brothers and sisters for their efforts that resulted in the legislation of the amended companies law, which was approved for the first time in Iraq, the establishment of holding companies," Masoudi said in a statement received. And directly to stimulate the investment process. "
He also referred to the promotion of sustainable development through the establishment of hundreds of partnerships between several private sector companies in Iraq as well as partnerships with the private sector regional, Arab and international.
