[size=18]Oil prices fell as worries over a possible global economic slowdown overshadowed an OPEC agreement on Monday to extend production cuts until March.

London Brent crude <LCOc1> fell 18 cents, or 0.28 percent, to $ 64.88 a barrel.

US crude for August delivery fell 20 cents, or 0.34 percent, to $ 58.89 a barrel after hitting its highest level in more than five weeks on Monday.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) agreed on Monday to extend oil production cuts until March 2020, to bypass WTO members' differences in an effort to support crude prices.

OPEC meets with Russia and other producers, in the OPEC + alliance, today to discuss supply cuts under the rise of US production.
